No kiting in nature reserves all year
It is not allowed to kite in nature reserves at any time. This applies all year. These areas are marked on the map below with an R. They are also marked on our water spot guide in dark red.
No kiting in wetland zones from 1/10 – 31/3
From the 1st of October until the 31st of March each year, environmental regulations prohibit board sports at several wetland locations in Jæren.
Sandestranda, Kolnes, Revtangen and Orre are among the areas where kiting is prohibited in the winter.
